Although the things you’re studying can be small, the impact of your discoveries can be seismic. The Geobiology Lab gives you the space and resources to investigate rocks, plates and other materials to identify and detect how the world has shifted and changed over time, and predict where it’s heading next.

Building on the foundations learned in the classroom, the Geobiology Lab puts you in the thick of practical study in the first three years of your program. Get hands on with rocks and minerals as you conduct original research to add to what you've learned in the classroom and inform your work in the real world of archaelogy, conservation and restoration.

Our faculty is made up of leaders in the field. Examine, explore, ask questions and find solutions under the watchful eyes of leading professionals who have been there and done the same. What’s more, your time in the lab can lead to research for your capstone project, which will also be guided by our faculty.
