    The Admissions Process at IE University is designed to uncover your academic and personal strengths. Our Admissions Department conducts a holistic and comprehensive evaluation of candidates, curating a diverse and globally-minded student community that sets us apart.

    Our esteemed programs are tailored with your success in mind, and this extends to our seamless Application Process. Operating on a rolling admissions basis, you have the flexibility to apply to IE University at your convenience. However, given the limited places and the competitiveness of our master’s programs, we recommend starting your application as soon as possible.

    How to apply

    FOUR - STEP ADMISSIONS PROCESS SCRIPT

    START YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

    Kickstart your application by filling out the form and uploading your CV, transcripts, diploma, references, and a personal essay in any format that highlights your strengths. Submit proof of English proficiency if required.

    ADMISSIONS TEST

    Applicants must take the IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT), GMAT, or GRE, with some programs accepting other tests*. Start by completing 25% of the application form and paying the application fee.  For more information, click here.

    *Please refer to your program-specific page for details on which test is most appropriate for your program. Some programs do not require the submission of an admissions test.  program-specific page.

    ONLINE ASSESSMENT

    After submitting your application, complete a 10-minute virtual assessment with timed questions. This is your chance to showcase your personality, communication skills, and quick-thinking abilities. A practice round is available to help you prepare.

    PERSONAL INTERVIEW

    After completing your application and all requirements are reviewed, join a personal interview with an Admissions Manager, where you’ll discuss your goals and strengths. Receive the admission decision by email within two weeks.

    ADMISSIONs PROCESS FAQ'S

    • We operate on a rolling admissions basis, allowing you to apply at your convenience without deadlines. However, we recommend applying at least a few months before your program starts, as places are limited.

    • We accept several admissions tests, including the GMAT, GRE, and our internal entrance exam, the IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT). Please refer to your program-specific page for details on which test is most appropriate for your program.

    • After you complete the interview stage, the Admissions Committee will thoroughly review your application. You will receive an admission decision via email within 1 to 2 weeks, depending on the volume of applications we receive. On average, the Admissions Process takes about a month.
