Building Resilience in Difficult Times

Join us for a webinar with Patrice Juah, author, writer, editor and IE Kistefos Scholar on Friday 3 April 2020 at 11am as she speaks on building resilience in difficult times. Patrice Juah is a communications professional, writer and editor. Her literary works cover a wide range of themes, to include personal life experiences, women’s empowerment and humor.

The author will read the poem “The Ebola Ride”, as it mirrors her life’s journey perfectly; from growing up as a child during the civil war in her country, Liberia, to experiencing the 2014 West African Ebola outbreak; to now, the Corona pandemic.

Under Ducor Skies is a reflective journey across lost childhood, war, arduous youth, and caged dreams, to a time of soaring peace, where bullets are finally silenced.
