With the intention of fostering research collaborations, faculty development and student exchange, IE University has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the University of Ghana.
The signing occurred during IE’s 10th annual Reinventing Higher Education Conference, between Santiago Iñiguez, President of IE University, Ebenezer Oduro Owusu, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, and Robert Ebo Hinson, Acting Dean at University of Ghana Business School.
“We are thrilled to formalize and deepen our collaboration with the University of Ghana, one of the oldest and largest of Ghana’s public universities. It is a partnership that will strengthen our efforts to showcase African innovation as well as integrate more philosophical and economic understanding of the continent in all academic programs taught at IE,” said Felicia Appenteng, Chair of the IE Africa Center.
IE University has been present on the African continent for more than ten years and recently launched the IE Africa Center, which operates under the IE Foundation and endeavors to change how executives around the world understand African business and history.
