Antumi Pallás Valencia

Antumi Toasijé is an historian, writer, and artist. He is a professor of Global History at New York University in Madrid and at IE University. He is also president of the Council for the Elimination of Racial or Ethnic Discrimination (CEDRE), the main official body dedicated to the fight against racism in Spain, which is linked to the Spanish Ministry of Equality.

PhD in History, Culture and Thought from the University of Alcalá, with a thesis on the African presence in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands from the Iron Age to the present day, Degree in General History from the University of the Balearic Islands, PhD courses in International Relations and African Studies at the Autonomous University of Madrid.

Antumi Toasijé is the author of three history books and a novel, as well as several academic and informative articles, and he has promoted a wide range of political, cultural, and social initiatives for the defense of the rights of the African and Afro-descendant communities in Europe, Africa, and Latin America.
