Beatriz Rodríguez Sánchez

Since September 2021, I work as an assistant professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, carrying out both teaching and research activities. Previously, from September 2020 to September 2021, I have been a collaborating professor at the Camilo José Cela University; a researcher hired under a European competitive project in the department of economic analysis of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of Toledo (University of Castilla la Mancha) from August 2018 to August 2020; and an assistant professor in the department of economics, econometrics and finance at the University of Groningen (The Netherlands). Likewise, I have been a visiting professor of the master's degree entitled "Management and development of biosanitary technologies" at the Carlos III University (Madrid, Spain). I have also given seminars as an invited speaker at the University of Cantabria, at the Latin American Association of the Elderly (ALMA) and at the summer courses in La Granda.

Since the year I started my professional career (2015), I have published 28 scientific articles (25 in peer-reviewed journals), most of them in the first quartile according to the Journal Citation Report or the Scimago Jorunal Ranking, and three book chapters, either in the field of economics or multidisciplinary sciences, being some of the journals The European Journal of Health Economics, Value in Health, Economics & Human Biology, Diabetes Care, Health Economics Review or PLoS One. I have received a total of 285 citations and my h index is 11 and my i10 index is 14 (according to Google Scholar). In order to disseminate my work, I have attended, since 2015, a total of 14 national (6) and international (8) conferences specialized in health economics or public economics, reaching 19 presentations, and receiving awards for the best oral communication in two of them (XXXV Conference of the Spanish Health Economics Association, and the tenth congress of the European Association of Public Health).

I hold a Master of Science in Health Economics from the University of York (United Kingdom) and a PhD in economics, specialized on health economics, from the University of Groningen (The Netherlands), receiving the mention of honors for being one of the three best doctoral theses defended in the Faculty of Economics and Business in the year 2018. I have also made international stays as part of my pre and post-PhD training at the University of York, University of Cantabria and University of Castilla la Mancha.

In July 2021, I was recognized for a six-year research period for the quality of the research activity carried out in the 2015-2020 period by the Spanish National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity. I would also like to highlight my affiliation as a collaborating researcher at the Center for Biomedical Research in the Fragility and Healthy Aging Network (CIBERFES).
