Pablo de los Santos Escribano

Pablo currently works as Senior Manager at WiZink Bank, a financial entity specialized in consumer lending in Spain and Portugal. Pablo and his team are part of the Data & Analysis area. His role goes from leading the Data workstream in strategic projects to participating in the construction of business cases and impact assessments for specific business actions, as well as caring about the Data Management procedures and governance across the company.

Previously Pablo has worked Consultant and Project Manager in Deep Payments, a strategy and innovation consulting firm, where he was involved in a wide range of projects, from the design of new business models focused in payments for incumbents in the financial and technology sectors to advising start-ups on data-driven management, building the required analytical capabilities among the different teams and areas.

Before that, he was a Business Intelligence Analyst at jobandtalent, driving the optimization of product features and operational and sales processes through KPI definition and monitoring and deep-dive analysis obtaining relevant insights for the enhancement of the business model; and worked also as Business Consultant in Management Solutions, where he had the opportunity to work in different projects around the world for a global top-tier financial services group.

During his professional experience, Pablo has developed an extensive knowledge in Excel modelling and Analytics, working with different types of databases (relational and non-relational), as well as multiple data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.).

Pablo holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Mathematics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a Master’s degree in Business Consulting from ICADE Business School and a Master’s degree in Big Data & Business Analytics from datahack school.
