In what ways do you think the program has changed your life professionally and personally?

Participating in the IE program has been transformative on multiple ways. The accessibility to exceptional individuals, colleagues or teachers, has been very valuable. Each person brings their unique value and perspective, enriching the learning experience. 

Additionally, the program's intensity has significantly enhanced my ability to plan and execute work with remarkable productivity. 

Navigating this fast-paced environment has helped me to develop a sense of adaptability—a skillset I now carry forward with confidence Beyond the classroom, IE has provided, and still is, multitude opportunities for growth.

What has been your favorite memory of your experience?

Winning the best consulting final project with my team was an incredible moment. The hard work, the honor, the real-word impact it all came together in a project that I am really proud of. It was all proof of dedication and the power of teamwork.

Why did you choose to study this program at IE?

I chose IE for its unique hybrid format, top-ranking status, and international focus. The international and innovative approach allowed me to continue working while studying, not staying behind. This, along with the extensive connections offered, made IE the perfect fit for my professional growth. I loved that the program offered lectures in managing tangibles and intangibles from a communication and reputational point of view.

What were some of the main challenges that you encountered on your way? How did your master program and IE help you through these challenges?

Managing work and studies was a major challenge. Following IE's resources and program structure while organizing from day one were key to succeed at time management skills. I learn what and how to prioritize, differentiating between important vs urgent, skill that has accompany me afterwards.

What is networking like in the Executive Master in Strategic Marketing & Communication?

Networking during the master was incredibly seamless, even in the online format and during covid. Engaging with my peers became a daily thing. The program promoted a collaborative environment where working closely and being open-minded were essential. Learning from others was not just encouraged, but it formed a fundamental part of the experience, making the networking key and important to succeed during the studies.

How was the experience of doing the Master in a format that allows you to continue working while studying?

The experience of pursuing the Master in a format that accommodates work was indeed challenging, but immensely rewarding. It enabled me to integrate my studies with my career, providing a unique opportunity to apply knowledge directly in my professional projects. This approach not only allowed me to keep my career momentum but also enriched my learning process by putting theory into immediate practice while boosting my career in real-time.

What advice would you give to students who are about to begin the program?

Her are four key pieces of advice:

  • Start organized from day one to manage your commitments effectively.
  • Push yourself beyond your comfort zone for maximum growth.
  • Rely on peers and professors for advice and support.
  • Embrace a mindset of continuous learning for long-term success.
