Reeju Guha
PhD student specializing in Operations Management at IE Business School, IE University. Research interests centered around the interface of Operations and Marketing - more specifically, exploring consumer choice behavior in online retail. Other areas of interest include understanding discretionary behavior of individuals while making stockout-based-substitutions, and how machine learning algorithms could be leveraged to better predict and alleviate concerns of stockouts in retail. Teaching experience at IE includes working as a Teaching Assistant for the doctoral course on Quantitative Methods-II. Prior academic experience include an undergrad degree in Food Process Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology, and then a graduate degree in Master of Management from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Prior professional experience includes working as a Manufacturing Executive in the FMCG division of an Indian conglomerate, and then as a Management Consultant in one of the Big Four firms.
