IE announces the winners of its 3rd Edition of the Prize for Economic Journalism in Asia

The awards in this third edition of the IE Business School Prize for Economic Journalism in Asia go to the authors of articles from The Economic Times (of India) and Pique Magazine (of Pakistan), and to Japan-based journal Nikkei Asian Review.

Sponsored by CAF development bank of Latin America, the overriding aim of the Prize for Economic Journalism in Asia is to increase the flow of economic information between Asia and the Latin America region in order to forge closer economic links and interests.

More than 200 articles from 60 different media organizations in Asia were submitted and the winners were chosen for their depiction of how global trends are impacting the spending power of Asia.

The awards in this third edition of the IE Business School Prize for Economic Journalism in Asia go to the authors of articles from The Economic Times (of India) and Pique Magazine (of Pakistan), and to Japan-based journal Nikkei Asian Review.

Dibeyendu Ganguly of The Economic Times from India for “Faith at work”.

Best Journalistic Work on Latin America’s Economy

Haroon Janjua of Pique Magazine from Pakistan for “Trans-Pacific partnership trade agreement: Hopes and Hiccups”.

Best Regional Economic Media

Nikkei Asian Review from Japan

The three prizes will be awarded on October 22nd, 2015 at the Casa de América building in Madrid, Spain, along with those corresponding to the sixth edition of the Prize for Economic Journalism in Latin America.
