IE Business School ranked No. 4 worldwide for executive education programs by América Economía
IE Business School holds the No. 4 position worldwide for executive education programs in a ranking published by leading Latin American business journal América Economía. The result further consolidates IE Business School’s position as one of the best business schools in the world for executive education programs.
Vandyck Silveira, General Director of Executive Education at IE Business School, was very pleased with the recognition of IE’s executive education programs by the ranking. “The results recognize the work carried out by our entire team - the excellence of our faculty, the constant innovation of our programs, and the close relations we have with companies which enable us to design programs that help achieve their strategic objectives”
The América Economía ranking examines the quality of executive education programs run by business schools for multinational and multilatina companies, subsidiaries and local firms. The report evaluated the degree of satisfaction of participants, as well as gauging the strategic impact of programs, the level to which they address clients’ specific needs, and how well the programs are aligned with companies’ objectives. Further parameters included the flexibility offered in terms of adapting programs to the needs of each firm, the joint design of the programs in collaboration with the company, and the publication of case studies.
With regard to levels of internationalization, the ranking evaluated in-company programs delivered abroad, international agreements in the field of executive education, the schools’ capacity to attract foreign companies, and their international presence. The ranking placed IE Business School as the No. 1 business school worldwide in terms of foreign clients (1,838) participating in in-company programs in the course of the 2013-14 academic year. IE is the fourth school for the greatest number of international agreements in the field of executive education programs.
The survey also looked at the volume of clients for in-company programs in 2013 and 2014, and levels of loyalty and contracting levels over the last 10 years. With regard to faculty, the ranking evaluated faculty members’ profiles, academic backgrounds, and their experience as professors, practitioners, and in public positions.
