A PURPOSE-DRIVEN MASTER IN FINANCE

In the world of finance, finding meaning in your work is crucial for personal fulfillment and career enrichment. However, determining what that means and how to achieve it can be a complex process. At IE University, we believe the first step in this process is to truly know yourself, which is why we give you the resources to experiment and find your passions.

The Master in Finance is designed to help you define, refine and align your sense of purpose with your career aspirations. We will work with you to help you understand what gives you a sense of meaning and how to use your financial knowledge to make a positive impact on today’s economy. Additionally, you can opt to pursue the pioneering Sustainable Finance certification, designed to help you grasp the intricacies of sustainability within finance contexts.

The decisions made by financial leaders have a ripple effect on the economy, influencing key stakeholders such as shareholders, employees, customers, and the general public. This program teaches you how to inspire them to support and invest in initiatives that contribute to the common good—like education, healthcare, and environmental sustainability—by aligning financial strategies with social and environmental goals.

Recognizing the growing importance of addressing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) challenges, this program integrates sustainability into financial education. You’ll explore core sustainability concepts and have the opportunity to earn a valuable certification in Sustainable Finance. Additionally, the program emphasizes digital skills through a Financial Technologies and Artificial Intelligence certification, complemented by a core Technology in Finance module. You’ll dive into innovative topics, from Trading Room Essentials to fintech, big data, machine learning, deep learning, and programming.
