A New Social Contract For The Digital Economy

On November 18, 2022 (11:30h), we will bring together experts and policymakers to discuss the need for a new social contract in today’s digital economy. During the event, we will present the conclusions of the research report The Digital Economy and the New Social Contract”, in which we analyze the social impact of the digital economy and the resulting power relations and provide policy recommendations on how the social contract needs to evolve to respond to the new reality.

The report is the first publication of our research project The Digital Revolution and the New Social Contract, which analyzes the digital revolution and the fracture of our social contract to advance realistic solutions for future agreements.

The event is co-organized by IE University’s Center for the Governance of Change and the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and will be held at CEPS’ headquarters in Brussels.
