About The Chair

The Chair is an initiative of IE University and DKV. Its aim is to help companies become better places where employee health and well-being can flourish.

The Chair examines the latest trends in the field of employee health and well-being and, among other topics, it covers the following areas of research:

  • How recent innovations in the workplace, such as increased flexibility to work remotely, is affecting employee well-being and health.
  • How organizations can destigmatize and prevent discrimination against mental health problems.
  • The consequences of workplace safety on employee retention.

THE CHAIR’S VISION

The Chair seeks to develop academic research to contribute to the positive development of employee health and well-being in the workplace.

In addition to its extensive international network, the Chair focuses on the following:

To develop impact-oriented research on the topics related to the field of health and well-being of employees and their relationship with their organizations and work environments.

Provide access to research results through the most relevant channels and raise awareness of the importance of fostering organizations where employee health and well-being can flourish.
