Marie-José Garot

Internal professor and vice dean of faculty at IE Law School. An expert in European law, she has carried out intensive research and teaching activity at prestigious universities. She is also director of the Center for European Studies at IE University.
Joaquín Garralda Ruíz de Velasco
Professor of Sustainability at IE University
His field of research focuses on sustainability and especially on types of behavior that facilitate or hinder its integration into the culture of the organization. He also focuses on the influence of the financial system on promoting sustainable behavior. He has actively participated in sustainability initiatives such as being secretary of the Spanish Global Compact Network; he is also president of Spainsif, a Spanish association that promotes socially responsible investment in Spain and of the Ethics Commission of the MicroBank Ethical Fund (Caixabank Group).
He has combined his career as professor with holding management positions at IE: he was dean of academic planning at IE University until 2020 and previously served as director of the MBA and Executive MBA programs. In his professional life, he has worked as an organization and strategy consultant at various companies, has been a director at PwC (PricewaterHouseCoopers), and has served as member of several boards of directors.
Katharina Miller
Compliance Professor at IE Law School
and Founding Partner of 3C Compliance
Katharina has a degree in economics and law (2004, 2006), a master's in European Union law from the Universities of Luxembourg and Strasbourg (2007). She has more than 15 years of professional experience in commercial, corporate, labor, and European Union consulting at the Court of Justice of the European Union and in various law firms in Germany and Spain. She is also a founding partner of 3C Compliance, a legal boutique, specialized in advice and training on compliance and ethics in companies.
Antti Tenhiala
Professor of Operations Management at IE Business School
Tenhiala is a professor of operations management at IE Business School. He has a doctoral degree in science in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in science in industrial engineering from Helsinki University of Technology. His research focuses on communicating and coordinating the practices that companies use to deal with unforeseen events in their processes. His research has received awards from the Academy of Management and the Decision Sciences Institute.
Martina Pasquini, PhD from Bocconi University, is an Associate Professor of Strategy at IE University. Her research focuses on strategy, innovation management, and entrepreneurship, particularly on demand, users, and value communities. She has received prestigious research funds from the EU, the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, and FUNCAS. Her current work explores identity-based strategies, pro-social investments, sustainable IPRs, and their impact on differentiation and performance, with a focus on B-Corporations. She has published in leading journals like Strategic Management Journal and Research Policy. Martina has served on various boards and committees, including the Strategic Management Society and AoM's STR division.
