Nancy Cueto

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Nancy Cueto is an economist who studied at the Andrés Bello Catholic University and holds an MBA from IE Business School. She also studied leadership and innovation at MIT.

She has more than 20 years of professional experience. Her beginnings were in the financial sector, although she has developed her expertise within the sphere of higher education. In 2001, she joined IE Business School, leading its international expansion in Latin America. In 2007, she became director of business development; during her years in the position, Cueto was responsible for creating and consolidating the network of international offices and centers, one of IE's most exciting strategic projects. In 2012, she held the position of chief marketing and business development officer, with responsibilities at the corporate level. There, she gained valuable learning experiences about leading people within organizations as well as the very rewarding experience of being able to participate in the creation of the Undergraduate Studies division of IE University. She is currently a member of the IE University Board of Directors.
