Matteo Turilli

Dr. Matteo’s main research interests are in parallel and distributed computing, and engineering of cyberinfrastructures, with applications in scientific domains such as biology, chemistry, and physics. He has contributed to multiple projects and publications in these fields, and has received several awards and honors for his work, including the “Secretary of Energy Achievement Award” as member of the “National Virtual Biotechnology Laboratory Team”, in recognition of services provided to COVID19 therapeutics research and the “2020 ACM Gordon Bell Special Prize for High Performance Computing-Based COVID-19 Research”. Dr. Matteo’s mission is to advance the state of the art in computing and cyberinfrastructure, and to enable scientific discovery and innovation.
