Meanwhile, business consultant Marta Enesco Garrido discussed the potential for advanced analytics to enhance efficiency in the Utilities sector. María Erquiaga Mendoza of BBVA emphasized the importance of integrating sustainability within broader corporate strategies.
Finally, Professor David Gómez-Ullate Oteiza from IE Research Datalab presented on the optimization of maritime routes to reduce fuel consumption and GHG emissions. His talk showcased the benefits of data science and mathematics in the ecological transition.
