We are thrilled to announce an addition to our IE Research Datalab team – Dr. Eduardo Castelló Ferrer! As an Assistant Professor at IE and an affiliated researcher at MIT (USA), Eduardo brings with him over a decade of expertise in robotics systems and their intricate nexus with network technology. His diverse experiences span across international projects in Japan, Europe, and the US, where he collaborated with distinguished academics such as Prof. Alex (“Sandy”) Pentland and Prof. Hiroshi Ishiguro.
Dr. Castelló’s has a broad academic background. After earning his B.Sc. in intelligent systems from the University of Portsmouth (UK), he pursued his M.Eng. and Ph.D. in robotics engineering from Osaka University (Japan). Thanks to his innovative approaches in the field, Eduardo earned a Marie Curie Fellowship at the MIT Media Lab, investigating the merger of autonomous systems and blockchain technology.
