This past week, professor Dae-Jin Lee attended the “International Symposium on Injury Prevention in Team Sports”, organized by the Institute for Sport and Sports Science at TU Dortmund University. The event gathered the latest insights and state-of-the-art research on athlete safety and performance enhancement across team sports.
Following the symposium, professor Lee participated in a working session with a group of fellow experts from academic institutions, statisticians, and sports scientists. They exchanged ideas on how AI can improve injury prevention, paving the way for innovative approaches in sport safety.
The highlight of Dae-Jin’s trip was visiting the training ground at Borussia Dortmund. Additionally, he had the fantastic opportunity to attend the UEFA Champions League semi finals against PSG, an event that Dae-Jin described as “both thrilling and enlightening”.
