This week, the IE Business School, through its International MBA program and in collaboration with the Impact Bridge – IE Chair of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing, hosted an informative session on the Turner MIINT (MBA Impact Investing Network & Training). Held on campus, this session saw an impressive turnout, reflecting the growing interest among students in the field of impact investing.

The event, led by advisors and campus leaders from the Impact Bridge – IE Chair of Social Entrepreneurship and Impact Investing, offered valuable insights into the competition’s transformative potential.

The Turner MIINT, a collaboration between Bridges Impact Foundation and the Wharton Social Impact Initiative, is designed to equip future leaders in impact investing with the skills needed to deliver both financial returns and meaningful social impact.

Participating students gain hands-on experience through a process that involves sourcing and performing due diligence on potential investment opportunities, culminating in a pitch presentation to an experienced Investment Committee.

This year, IE Business School presented  two teams of International MBA students to participate in the MIINT competition, joining over 350 MBA students from 31 top business schools worldwide.

The Turner MIINT finals will offer teams the chance to present their recommendations to an expert panel of industry leaders for a potential $50,000 investment. These finals not only feature the competitive pitch but also include networking opportunities and workshops on the latest trends in impact investing.
