The effect of certification timing on the social performance of social enterprises

In this study we look at 200 Korean enterprises that have received a government social enterprise certification. Our objective is to examine how the timing of certification (early versus late stage) effects the social performance off these organizations overtime. we also try to unpack the role of additional factors associated with the founders background and the legal form of the organization.
