Braulio Pareja

Research Project Manager

Braulio is the Head of Academic Research at Impact Bridge and a Lecturer of Economics and Business Ethics at Comillas Pontifical University (ICAI-ICADE).

After he finished his degree in History at Salamanca University, he studied a Master’s in International Development Cooperation at Comillas Pontifical University. In 2012, he was awarded an FPU research grant to study his PhD in the Chair of Economics and Business Ethics at Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid.

After studying a master’s degree in Economics and Business Research he read his doctoral thesis on “Financing of social entrepreneurship: Impact investor´s profile and decision-making from behavioral finance”.

Since 2017, he has been doing research into social entrepreneurship and impact investing, he has been doing research into social entrepreneurship and impact investing, and also lectures on ESG and Business Ethics on a number of degrees at the Comillas Pontifical University. In 2012, he founded Socialemprende, a Spanish Social Entrepreneur Association. Braulio has also done social impact measurement consultancy work for a Spanish NGO in Nairobi (Kenia).
