Jeanne Roche is a PhD candidate at IE Business School and works in the fields of social entrepreneurship and family firms.
Her thesis focuses on the role of business-owning families in the emerging field of impact investing, venture philanthropy, and socially responsible investments, and part of her work also looks at the effects of social entrepreneurship certification (such as B Corp).
Prior to joining IE, Jeanne interned in a microfinance bank in Brussels and for European research centers focused on alternative economic and business models including the Economics in Mutuality lab at the Saïd Business School (University of Oxford).
Jeanne has a MSc in Business Engineering and an MA in International Development & Demography from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium).
