We are not in an era of change, but rather a change of era, and this transition—like others before it—is producing a new sort of person. From ‘Homo sapiens’ to ‘Homo videns’ and now ‘Homo conectadum’, human beings throughout their history have faced challenges derived primarily from technological development. One of the trickiest challenges in today’s era is to remain human both offline and online—two worlds that have already blended into one.
