I’m from Madrid, but I currently live in London. I’ve developed my professional career in the world of law, where I’m currently dedicated to commercial law and arbitration. I’m passionate about my profession, but first and foremost, I’m a husband and father. I greatly enjoy spending time with my friends and family.

A path to legal success: IE Law School
With a solid track record of over 18 years in the legal sector, Eduardo Ayuela is a sector leader in Spanish law. He’s a partner at Ayuela Jiménez, a recent winner at the Expansión JurÃdico 2024 Awards. To complement his legal education at the beginning of his professional career, Eduardo chose the Máster en AsesorÃa JurÃdica at IE Law School, a program that is now integrated into the Doble Máster en AbogacÃa y Procura + AsesorÃa JurÃdica de Empresas (LL.M.)
At that time, pursuing a master's was not a requirement to practice the profession. But Eduardo didn't hesitate: he knew the program would represent a "before and after" in his career in business law. It was a differentiating degree that allowed him to build his skills in essential aspects of the profession.
Eduardo, who has also been an associate professor here, has an extensive educational portfolio in which IE Law School plays a prominent role. In addition to studying his master's at IE Law School, he also completed the Startup Lawyers program, focused on legal services that support the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

With almost 20 years of experience in the legal sector, Eduardo has worked for some of the most renowned law firms. This includes UrÃa Menéndez, an opportunity he accessed thanks to the excellent grades he obtained at IE Law School. "Completing my master's with very good grades allowed me to participate in the selection processes of the best national and international firms, and to receive several offers. Ultimately, I decided to join UrÃa Menéndez," he explains.
In his long career, Eduardo has established himself as a leader in business law. Since 2015, he has been part of the Ayuela Jiménez team, where, in addition to being a responsible partner in commercial law and arbitration, he is board president.
Recently, the firm was named Best Boutique of 2024 at the ninth edition of the Expansión JurÃdico Awards. Eduardo confirms that the award was one of the "happiest moments" of his professional career, as it represents the recognition of many years of effort by everyone who is or has been part of Ayuela Jiménez. "The award is very special," he says, "but our firm’s development will continue to be based on our clients’ trust in us."
