Global LegalTech Venture Days begin in Rio de JaneiroOn April 16, FGV Direito Rio hosted the Global LegalTech Venture Day, a dynamic event showcasing innovation in legal technology. Co-organized by IE Law School, the Law Schools Global League (LSGL), LexisNexis, and FGV Direito Rio, the event brought together leading minds from academia, industry, and startups.

“Legaltech is rapidly expanding, and new players and startups are bursting onto the scene in extraordinary ways, providing powerful solutions and innovative opportunities for law firms, corporations, and both private and public organizations,” remarked organizers. “Through our Global LegalTech Venture Days, we want to give back to this blossoming industry and help young companies realize their potential to become harbingers of change and innovation.” 

The competition culminated in a victory for Legal-Pythia, led by CEO Jeremy Bormann, whose innovative approach impressed both the jury and attendees.

Global LegalTech Venture Days begin in Rio de JaneiroThe day was enriched by the contributions of esteemed speakers, including Sérgio Guerra, Simone Lahorgue Nunes, and Nicolo Zingales, alongside a panel of industry experts such as José Luiz Nunes, Caroline Somesom Tauk, Maria Eduarda Lemgruber, and Filipe Medon.

The Startup Competition jury, comprised of Fernanda Jorge, Claudio Luiz de Miranda Bastos Filho, Maria Clara Ramos, Deoclides Neto, and Yasmin Curzi, brought valuable insights to the selection process.
