IE Law School and Harvard Law School announce the launch of the Repsol Legal Methodology
This advanced, intensive training program, grounded in legal knowledge and practical application, aims to position the Repsol team at the forefront of innovation and excellence.
IE Law School has a wide range of programs and, in addition, designs customized training projects for large corporations that seek to develop the knowledge and skills of their employees to position themselves as leaders in the activities they practice.
The Repsol Legal Methodology program, developed by IE Law School and Harvard Law School, aims to enhance the skills of lawyers, standardize methodologies across the legal practices of multi-jurisdictional firms, and foster strategic thinking necessary for resolving complex legal issues.
The training, set to commence in September 2024 and spanning 12 weeks, marks the pioneering collaboration between these two educational institutions for in-house company consultancy.
Innovation in Legal Practice for the Future
The objective of this project is to build a cohesive legal team capable of navigating the complexities of global corporate transformation. It aims to inspire participants to apply legal theories and principles in practical, collaborative resolutions of real-world situations.
Methodology and Technology
The program will adopt IE Law School's experiential methodology, placing practice and hands-on experience at the forefront of learning.
The faculty, comprised of eminent academic figures from institutions such as IE Law School, Harvard Law School, Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, and Suffolk University, among others, aims to foster strategic thinking essential for navigating global contexts.
Innovation, technology, and new AI tools will play central roles throughout the program, providing an ideal context for developing new work methodologies.
Repsol's commitment
In recent years, Repsol has been committed to innovation and new digital tools for the transformation of its legal services. They seek to update their management model and their way of working to respond to the challenges that are emerging in a context of global business relations.
The education and training of its internal talent represents another significant step toward this transformation. The Repsol Legal Methodology program is integrated into the Knowledge Management initiative within the Protea Project, aimed at driving the company's legal transformation.
