Program content
In this four-week journey, participants will navigate four weeks of content dedicated to the fundamentals of disruptive thinking frameworks and techniques.
WEEK 1 - WELCOME TO THE PROGRAM
In this week, participants will meet the professor and become familiarized with the main objectives of the program, the program structure, and the assignments they will be working on during the rest of the program. A welcome networking session will be hosted, giving participants the opportunity to forge meaningful connections with their peers.
WEEK 2 - THE DISRUPTIVE THINKING MINDSET
This week, participants will gain a deep understanding of the mindset needed to drive disruptive innovation. They will learn how to question existing paradigms, challenge the status quo, and cultivate an environment that values and encourages creative problem-solving and innovation.
After completing this week of study, participants will be able to:
- Explain common biases towards change (both generally across teams and organizations and specifically in their own cases)
- Discuss the basis of disruption
- Create new ideas using matrix frameworks
During week two of the program, a live session with the program Learning Facilitator will be hosted, an opportunity to connect with an industry expert who will be guiding you through your learning journey.
WEEK 3 - DISRUPTIVE THINKING FRAMEWORKS
Students will learn about the various frameworks and methodologies that can facilitate the application of disruptive thinking within an organization. They will gain insights into how to overcome resistance to change, manage risks associated with disruption, and effectively implement disruptive solutions in a systematic way.
After this week, participants will be able to:
- Outline strategies to provoke innovation
- Question performance metrics in their sector and offer alternatives
- Utilize disruptive thinking frameworks to tackle problems
During week three of the program, an interactive live session with the program faculty will be hosted, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with the creator of the program, dive deeper into concepts seen in the learning materials, and discuss practical applications.Â
WEEK 4 - CATALYSTS FOR INNOVATION: EMERGING PLATFORMS
Students will explore the potential of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, and innovation management to act as catalysts for disruptive innovation. They will analyze real-world case studies and gain hands-on experience with some of these technologies, enabling them to understand their potential applications and impacts on various industries.
After this week, participants will be able to:
- Outline the monumental impact of platforms on Business
- Distinguish different network effects and predict how these would apply to different business situations
- Create an AI agent using innovation platforms
At the end of week four, participants are given the opportunity to continue networking in a live session, discussing key takeaways from the program and looking forward collectively to how they will implement these takeaways in their individual business contexts.Â
