Waya Quiviger is a Professor of Practice of Global Governance and International Development at IE School of Global and Public Affairs. She coordinates the annual Transatlantic Bridge Conference co-led by IE SPEGA, Johns Hopkins SAIS, Sciences Po, and Yale University. Waya teaches Global Governance and International Development courses in several undergraduate and graduate programs at IE. She holds degrees from LSE, HEC Paris, and McGill University, and previously worked at the World Economic Forum. Waya is a member of the Spanish Leadership Network of the Fundación Rafael del Pino.

Dr. Ilke Toygür is the Director of the Global Policy Center and Professor at IE University’s School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs. Her expertise includes European integration, EU institutions, democracy in Western Europe, transatlantic relations, and Turkey’s relations with the West. She holds degrees in Economics, Democracy and Government, and Political Science. Since 2008, she has worked with institutions like the Economic Development Foundation, Elcano Royal Institute, and SWP in Brussels. A former Mercator-IPC Fellow, she is now a non-resident senior associate at CSIS in Washington, DC
