Dr. Le Pertel is a licensed doctor of East Asian medicine with over a decade in top-tier academic medical centers and hospitals working as a researcher, educator, and treating over 10,000 patients. She has worked at Columbia University Medical Center, NYU Langone Hospital, Harvard Medical School/Brigham Women’s Hospital, Mount Sinai Beth Israel, NY Presbyterian, Montefiore, and holds a private practice in NYC. She has authored/co-authored publications in Current Problems in Pediatric and Adolescent Health Care, NY Medical Journal, and at the University of Pennsylvania on medical science, clinical care, and burnout/resilience across systems. Dr. Le Pertel has been teaching mindfulness in the context of leadership for over 20 years is the founder of Empowered Wellness and the Center for Positive Leadership, LLC.
