This course provides a comprehensive and interactive deep dive into cyber incident management, equipping participants with practical strategies for handling high-pressure cyber crises. The curriculum is highly immersive, combining expert insights, real-world scenarios, and an advanced tabletop exercise to simulate the complexities of an actual cyberattack.

The program is structured around a tabletop exercise, where attendees simulate the response to a cyberattack in real-time. Participants will experience the escalating challenges of a security breach, working through four structured modules that correspond to the phases of incident response:

  • Explore the most pressing cyber threats, how AI is shaping the cyber landscape, and the key corporate functions involved in risk mitigation.

  • Learn how to detect the early signs of a breach, mobilize and coordinate internal response teams, engage forensic investigators, assess regulatory obligations, and manage crisis communications.

  • Tackle the challenges of ransomware negotiations, data leaks, notification obligations, media scrutiny, and regulatory investigations, all while balancing internal and external stakeholder expectations.

  • Conduct a thorough incident review, assess long-term risks, and develop strategies to strengthen corporate governance, regulatory relationships, and cybersecurity posture moving forward.

Throughout the course, expert insights, group discussions, and interactive exercises will help participants master crisis response, stakeholder management, and reputational risk mitigation. Special attention is given to navigating global regulatory frameworks, ensuring participants are well-equipped to handle cyber crises in diverse legal and business environments.
