PROGRAM STRUCTURE
An intensive program focused on the mapping, evaluation and leadership of sustainability within the built environment, with a strong practical focus and in which each participant will be able to build their own Transformation Plan.
PROGRAM CONTENT
MODULE 1: CREATING INSPIRATION AND CURIOSITY
The Program is launched with a number of session to inspire the group into believing that, as individuals, they can make a difference. This will be by introducing the practice of integration as an open-ended process, the essential principles behind the work, instruments/frameworks utilized, and effective leadership capabilities required. The outcomes will include an appreciation of the potential of this way of working, experience in applying the frameworks, and a basis for advancing the practice as part of company culture.
- Systemic Collapse and the Environmental Imperative Strategic initiatives such as ESG and the UN
- Sustainable Development Goals. How can they help? The impact on and the challenges faced by the environment sector
MODULE 2: THE PROBLEMS AND OBSTACLES
Brief reality check of the issues that sector phases.
- What is working and what is not?
- How does it affect culture, process and tolos & techniques?
- What are the new types of Project Leadershiprequired?
MODULE 3: GOOD PRACTICES
Real-life examples of some of the great work being done in our industry, covering elements such as design, construction, circularity, technology, etc.
- How an integrative approach counteracts the failings of a room of specialists
- Culture and Collaboration are key to the change
- The importance of Exploration and Discovery from the outset
MODULE 4: ECO LITERACY
An introduction to the natural systems that make life on earth possible, and the effect the Built Environment has on them.
- Designing in sustainability to maximise the benefit
- How Sustainable Procurement can magnify the potential
- New Methods of Construction that complete the cycle
MODULE 5: PURPOSEFUL ORGANISATIONS
Sustainable Leaders cannot thrive unless they perform inside purposeful organisations. Understanding some of the key characteristics that such an organisation should demonstrate together with applicable tools and processes will allow the Participants to incorporate aspects into their working day.

MODULE 6: A NEW APPROACH TO PROJECT DELIVERY
An understanding of the elements needed for a systemic approach to a project to be aligned. Setting up a design team for success working on alignment and understanding.
- Living Systems Thinking and Regenerative Design
- Impact on Culture, Process and Tools & Techniques
MODULE 7: SEEKING OPPORTUNITY
Based on a Living System Approach, the Participants will be encouraged to seek the opportunity from all their work and projects, and provided Frameworks to use.
- Preparation of a Transformation Plan
MODULE 8: IDEAS LAB
Working individually, or in groups, the Participants will be free to explore any ideas they have for improving the Real Estate Sector, based on their leaning during the Program. The topic can a real-life challenge they are currently facing, or simply an opportunity that they have identified either before or during the course. Faculty members will be available to support the Participants, and the Ideas Lab period will terminate in a 10-minute presentation to fellow participants.
