Ignacio González Gugel
I’m an attorney with a multi-disciplinary background and experience with individuals and legal entities, with a specialization in commercial law, tort law, compliance, and new technologies law.
In 2002, I founded the company Indemnización por Accidente, S.L.P., which provides legal services in the field of tort law.
Additionally, I’m a founding partner of the firm dPG Legal, which was created in 2009 and provides legal, financial, and marketing consulting to companies and professionals.
I currently manage the legal team at both companies.
Since 2011, I have worked to develop both companies’ business internationally, which has led to opening an office in Lisbon (Portugal).

Ignacio González Gugel is a natural-born entrepreneur. He has founded two companies that offer legal services, where he oversees the legal team. He is also working to expand both businesses internationally.
Why did you decide to further your education at IE?
I was looking to broaden my knowledge, broaden professional contacts, and provide better service to my clients.
Do you think that your time at IE has changed your focus in your career?
I’m sure of it. It’s helped me get out of my comfort zone.
What is your current professional status?
It’s good. I’m growing and consolidating my firm.
What is the most valuable lesson you learned during the program?
That personal prestige, technical quality, and constant technological improvement are the basic ingredients for growth (and survival) in an extremely competitive market.
Do you have any inspiring stories you’d like to share with your classmates?
I think what’s inspiring is getting to know the professional and personal points of view of each member of the group. We always learn a lot from others. Good professionals are always inspiring.
