A Closer Look
Over the course of 22 months, this Dual Degree program will challenge you to expand your horizons, deepen your knowledge and apply your skills to some of the world’s most pressing issues. The Master in International Relations includes courses in four main areas: Management and Analytical Skills, Geopolitics and Diplomacy, International Economics and Business, and Global Governance and International Cooperation, with all but the Management and Analytical Skills available for you to specialize, if you choose. Students may also elect to focus their study on one geographical region.
Additionally, the program includes foreign language studies and a hands-on final project (either a Master’s Thesis or a Capstone Consulting Project) in addition to opportunities for international exchange and fieldwork experience.
After completing the Master in International Relations, students switch gears and begin the Master of Laws (LL.M.), gaining highly specialized legal expertise complemented by a broader set of skills. In the Master of Laws (LL.M.), students can choose to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma of Specialist (PGDip) in International Business Law, International Dispute Resolution or Intellectual Property and Technology Law in addition to their broader legal understanding, paving their own paths to career success. With the skills they gain in global affairs and law, graduates of this Dual Degree are perfectly prepared to enter the international job market and tackle global challenges in legal environments.
