IE University Hosts the UN Global Compact’s 5th EU Climate Peer Learning Group

The 5th EU Climate Peer Learning Group gathering, organized in collaboration with the United Nations Global Compact, IE’s Sustainability Office, and the IE Provost’s Office, took place at IE University.

In his address, IE University’s Provost, Manuel Muñiz, emphasized the urgent need to adapt and build resilience in response to the unprecedented changes affecting our climate and other social and environmental areas. He stated, “We are facing unprecedented changes to climate and other social and environmental areas. This demands adaptation and resilience.”

Provost Muñiz highlighted IE University’s commitment to addressing these challenges by promoting public-private dialogue around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda. He expressed a firm belief in the transformative power of businesses to lead the world towards a more sustainable future.
