IE School of Architecture and Design launches an International Committee with experts in the field of creative industries
Members of the International Committee at the kick off meeting held on campus at the IE Tower in Madrid.
IE School of Architecture and Design is proud to announce the establishment of a new International Committee of Experts, composed of renowned professionals from diverse sectors. The committee’s primary goal is to strengthen the School’s academic footprint in the fields of architecture, design, real estate, cities, and the creative industries. The committee will play a key role in identifying emerging trends and opportunities for program growth and career development. The committee is chaired by Ben van Berkel, Founder and Principal Architect at UNStudio, and David Goodman, Dean of IE School of Architecture and Design.
This Committee will guide and support IE University’s mission to shape the future of education in the fields of architecture and design. The members are:
- Manuela Luca-Dazio, Executive Director of the Pritzker Architecture Prize
- David Miller, Managing Director at C40 Cities
- Lucia Tahan, Product Designer at Vision Pro Apple
- Hugh Forrest, Co-President & Chief Programming Officer at SXSW
- Aref Lahham, Managing Director at Orion Capital Managers
- Sheikha Reem Al-Thani, Acting Deputy CEO of Exhibitions at Qatar Museums
- Clotilde Entrecanales, Head of Experiences at ACCIONA Cultura
- Nils Kok, Professor in Real Estate Finance at Maastricht University
- Lisette Van Doorn, Chief Executive of ULI Europe
This diverse group of thought leaders and innovators will work together to ensure that the School remains aligned with its core objectives of academic excellence and promotes the students and graduates’ professional careers around the world.
