TWO WORLD-LEADING INSTITUTIONS, TWO GREAT CITIES.

The Dual Degree Master in Technology and Global Affairs will take you on a two-year adventure in Paris and Madrid, both global hubs for technology and international affairs. During this time, you’ll explore three fundamental pillars: Tech, Geopolitics and Security; Technology and Citizenship; and Technology and Global Prosperity. Issues related to the Governance and Regulation of Technology will be treated as a fourth, cross-cutting pillar.

You’ll spend the first year at Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs. This will be your chance to gain foundational knowledge relevant to each core pillar. Further, you’ll sharpen your practical skills and build specialized expertise in a regional or thematic concentration area. Students without a previous tech background will also have a chance to develop a basic understanding of computer programming, cloud storage, data management, and AI and its algorithms.

After a summer focused on building professional connections through internships, you will begin your second year at IE School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs in Madrid. Here, you’ll shift your focus to relevant tech skills for the world of policy and geopolitics. Expect to dive deeper into hands-on projects, case studies and more to refine your quantitative skills and overall technical expertise.

By emphasizing a practical approach, this dual degree leaves you with a comprehensive understanding of the geopolitical and societal impact of technology, an appreciation of tech’s potential to tackle global issues innovatively, and the know-how to harness tech for good in society as a whole.
