Borja Santos addresses recipients of ‘la Caixa’ Foundation postgraduate scholarships at official ceremony
The "la Caixa" Foundation recently held the 2024 Postgraduate Fellowships Abroad ceremony in Madrid, presided over by H.M. King Felipe VI. Borja Santos, Vice Dean and professor at IE School of Politics, Economics and Global Affairs at IE University, addressed this year's 100 distinguished students. Each year, the Foundation grants fellowships for postgraduate studies at universities or research centres in the European Higher Education Area, North America, and Asia-Pacific region. Santos was a scholarship recipient in 2014 and studied a Master's Degree in Public Administration and International Development at Harvard University.
"This scholarship is a testament to your effort, dedication, and academic excellence," said Santos. "You are now an essential part of a community with a great mission: to build a better and fairer society". He advised this year’s recipients to "make the most of all the new opportunities and the community you are already a part of. Let your dreams be the compass that steers your course and leads you to your aspirations."
