The Master in Technology and Global Affairs takes a multidisciplinary approach to prepare future leaders to navigate the complex intersection of rapid technological change and governance. With a focus on international dynamics and an emphasis on politics and domestic public policy, this program places participants at the core of diplomacy and technology. The program dives into economic sectors where public and private merge, providing a gateway to a wide range of tech and governance career opportunities. And it’s delivered by a global hub for diplomacy and tech thanks to IE School of Politics, Economics & Global Affairs’ agreement with the Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator (GESDA).

Program participants will explore how technological advancements shape global power dynamics, influence national policies and impact social, economic and security landscapes. Students will explore cutting-edge technologies such as AI, blockchain, biotech, urban tech, cybersecurity and data analytics tools. Through a tailored selection of elective courses, capstone projects and extracurricular activities, students can also specialize in either domestic policy or international relations, further driving a personalized academic and professional pathway.

OFFICIAL DEGREE

Students must fulfill the following requirements to be able to request the issuance of the Official University Degree upon completion of the Master Program. If educational prerequisites are not provided and/or if the requirements are not met on time, the student will not be able to request the official university degree as issued by the Spanish government. In this case, the studies will not be official under Spanish educational regulations.
