WHAT IS BERKELEY IMMERSION WEEK?
Berkeley Immersion Week is a hands-on, one-week program in which, joined by other students from IE School of Science & Technology, you’ll meet with industry leaders from Silicon Valley and discover the culture behind the global tech innovation hub. During the week, you’ll attend engaging tech-focused talks and work on a real-world project to gain essential skills for the future and discover your professional potential.
To offer this opportunity, we’ve partnered with UC Berkeley Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (SCET), a prestigious institution at UC Berkeley dedicated to technology-centric entrepreneurship and innovation.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING BERKELEY IMMERSION WEEK?
Each Berkeley Immersion Week is different as we develop the program’s itinerary to align with technological developments. However, each cycle you’ll have the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge industry developments and hear from Silicon Valley experts on topics such as leadership, networking, project management, fundraising and the importance of diversity.
You’ll also have time to work on a team project rooted in deep tech and data, ready to present your findings at the end of the week in a Silicon Valley-style pitch. You’ll benefit from personalized feedback from IE Alumni and a panel of industry mentors.
What’s more, throughout the week, you’ll visit impressive tech companies such as Google and Salesforce to get a taste of what working in one of these large organizations can look like. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in cultural activities in San Francisco with your peers.
