Michele says that getting to work with professors who have real-world business experience has been a key benefit of this program. “They are very good at what they do. Sometimes they are also managing directors in companies. It’s been very good to network with them.”

A highlight for Paola was participating in the annual IE Venture Day. “[It] was an amazing opportunity that let us know we were going to fully [pursue] the entrepreneurship path,” she reflects. Her team’s project, Cacaok’an—a chocolate company dedicated to sustainability and women’s empowerment—was selected as the winner during the 2024 edition in Madrid.
