How can a finance graduate program change your career?
A finance graduate program is the premier qualification to make you a modern and relevant professional. With markets in constant motion, we’ve redesigned our Master in Finance alongside IE Talent & Careers to keep you ahead of the curve with new demands for tech-savvy business experts. This redesign has been a lively process, during which various departments have come together to co-create a program that’s totally aligned with current market demands.
The updated program also examines the latest financial trends, from sustainability and technology to Artificial Intelligence.
What makes our Master in Finance different?
Our Master in Finance is different. It features a core period covering finance fundamentals, technology in finance, corporate finance and global markets. There’s also an additional elective period which features three unique tracks complemented by in-demand finance specializations. This is a completely rounded approach that sets us apart—we know one size doesn’t fit all. We focus on advancing your market knowledge and bringing you up to speed on every aspect of modern industry events.
The fall intake introduces a 10-month program that kicks off in September and is ideal for candidates ready to pursue a finance master’s degree directly after their undergraduate studies. The spring intake kicks off in April and is better suited to more experienced candidates. For more information on either intake, take a look at the program structure via our official website.
After completing your Core Period courses, you’ll further personalize your studies by choosing between three specialization tracks aligned with market demands:
1. Global Markets & Asset Management
2. Private Equity & Investment Banking
3. Real Estate & Alternative Investments
You’ll be challenged to select a track based on your individual goals and continue with specially-designed courses. This differs from earning an additional finance certification, which is yet another new change to the program.
Yes, the learning experience is more intense. But that’s what you’re looking for, isn’t it?
How important are extra certifications on a finance graduate program?
Furthering our synergy with market trends, we’ll also help you enhance your profile with a certification. This is a new type of minor specialization which gives you nuanced knowledge that you wouldn’t find in a typical finance graduate program. Our Master in Finance program now offers these two certifications:
Sustainable Finance
Financial Technologies & AI
Upon completing a certification, the accreditation will be listed on your final diploma alongside your master’s degree qualification. The benefits of these certifications make you that bit more employable and set you up to hit the ground running when you return to full-time work.
