Committed to fostering career development, they deliver personalized counseling, host industry events and facilitate essential networking opportunities. One such occasion is the IE University Careers Forum.

This biannual event, held in Madrid, gives attendees an excellent opportunity to develop vital connections, whatever career path they ultimately hope to pursue.

Indeed, beyond getting to know recruiters and business leaders, participants also enjoy the chance to meet with IE Alumni working in many different fields, who share insights into their personal experience in the job market.

This time, the Forum saw a record 1,594 master’s students, undergraduate students and alumni pass through the doors over the course of five engaging days. As IE University’s largest recruiting initiative, the IE Careers Forum was devised to bring industry-leading employers and recruiters from around the globe together with our students and soon-to-be graduates.

It’s the perfect chance for our alumni to showcase their talents and explore their options both before and after graduation, as well as to nurture relationships that will one day play a crucial role in their professional career paths.

The event was attended by over 130 companies from a broad range of sectors, ready to share both current and future opportunities with attendees. Industry leaders including the likes of Airbus, CEMEX España, Chalhoub Group, Diageo, Glencore, AG, The Kraft Heinz Company, L’Oréal, LVMH, Navantia, Procter & Gamble, Sandoz Farmacéutica, VESTAS and more flocked to IE Tower to enjoy meeting their next potential graduate intake.

Some of the world’s leading consultancy firms were among those present as well, including Alvarez & Marsal, Deloitte, FTI Consulting, INDRA/Minsait, KPMG, NTT DATA Spain and PwC.

These big names have long been top employers of IE University graduates and many students relished the chance to make important connections in a field where roles are in high demand.

Also at the event, were some of the foremost brands in the world of finance, such as Banco Santander, BBVA, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, ING, MAPFRE, Morningstar and Visa, to name a few.

They were joined by SciTech and technology giants in the form of Amazon Spain, BMC Software, Capgemini, Celonis, Orange, SAP, SAS, ServiceNow, Telefónica and Uber, all of which continue to hire IE University alumni year after year.
