Furthermore, the curriculum mirrors the fast-paced decision-making of top companies, preparing you to take on high-impact roles from day one.
Who is this program for?
This one-of-a-kind master’s degree aims to help you clarify your career goals and gain precise tools to achieve your objectives.
Now, unlike a traditional Master in Management, this program is tailored for young professionals with real-world experience. Ideal candidates are budding leaders with at least one year of working experience and a clear career path in business, finance, consulting or technology.
If you’re looking for an academic experience that moves beyond theory and pushes you into the challenges of running a business, this is for you.

Simulated experiences, real-world skills
At the heart of the Master in Management & Strategy is a unique methodology that puts students in a simulated corporate setting. Instead of learning passively, you’ll take on active roles within a fictional company.
This company is designed to replicate the structure and challenges of a real-life business. Framed as a fast-growing medtech company based in Madrid, it specializes in wearable health monitoring devices.
Throughout the program, students operate as employees within this company. This involves tackling challenges, analyzing financial strategies and making key business decisions. And all under the guidance of experienced professors who act as department heads.
This hands-on approach ensures that every concept learned in class is immediately applied in a realistic business context, preparing ambitious students like you for the complexities of real-world management.
Immersive learning: how does it work?
Rather than traditional semesters, the program is structured around department rotations, mimicking a corporate graduate training program. Each rotation introduces students to different business functions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of company operations.
In Department Rotation I, during the first term, you will focus on foundational business functions such as financial reporting, entrepreneurship and management strategies. Courses include financial statement analysis, budgeting processes and leadership development.
Department Rotation II, in the second term, expands on strategic execution, investment analysis and team leadership. You’ll refine your ability to drive business growth and make data-driven decisions.
Throughout these rotations, students take on different roles in “mini departments,” working in teams to solve real business challenges.
These challenges are structured as high-intensity business sprints, developing problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Expert faculty: mentors and leaders for top business studies
One of the program’s standout features is the hands-on involvement of faculty members who don’t just teach—they lead. Acting as department heads within the company, students navigate complex business challenges. Furthermore, you’ll do so while providing strategic insights drawn from your own industry experience.
Lucía Egea specializes in financial reporting and financial statement analysis, ensuring students gain a strong grasp of corporate finance.
Matthieu Heusch, director of the Startup Lab, leads sessions on entrepreneurship and innovation. These help students identify opportunities and think like business leaders.
Arturo Cuellas focuses on leadership and team management, equipping students with the skills to drive high-performing teams.
Carlos de Andrés teaches investment strategy and portfolio analysis, which is crucial for those pursuing careers in finance.
David Suárez, Vice Dean of IE Business School, provides insights into strategy execution. This helps students develop the ability to implement high-level business strategies.
By working closely with these professors, you’ll gain not only academic knowledge but also mentorship and practical insights that will shape your professional career.
Global exposure and career preparation
Department rotations provide the program’s core structure. However, you’ll also benefit from further experiences that enhance your perspective and career prospects.
