On May 9, the Chair hosted its third installment of the Responsible Tech Salon, a forum for IE alumni to discuss the ethical and societal challenges of emerging technologies. The Salon welcomed Patrick de Oliveira, Assistant Professor of History at IE School of Humanities, to discuss the historical movement of Luddism and the lessons it offers for reacting to development in AI.
