Anand Bhatia
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, OPERATIONS & TECHNOLOGY
Anand Bhatia is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at IE Business School. His research focuses on operational improvements in the healthcare sector. He is particularly passionate about examining operation management strategies to increase availability, affordability, and accessibility of health care service deliver. In addition, he teaches Operations Management and Supply Chain Management courses for the BBA programs.
He earned his doctorate in business administration from the University of North Carolina, his masters of engineering in supply chain management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his bachelor’s in industrial engineering from the University of Iowa.
In addition to academia, he’s had nine years of industry experience in various sectors, ranging from startup environments to management consulting to the public sector.
