Carlos Pio

Carlos Pio is a distinguished Brazilian political scientist and seasoned government executive. A graduate of the renowned IUPERJ - Rio de Janeiro’s Social Sciences Institute, Dr. Pio has dedicated much of his academic career to exploring the intricacies of international political economy. With particular emphasis on trade policies and liberalization, his research delves into the institutional causes of economic development.
