Charrisse Johnston

A former Wall Street strategic planning executive turned interior designer, Charrisse Johnston has led interior design practices in both the US and South Africa.

She is the current Chair of the African Institute of Interior Design Professions and a former Chair of the American Society of Interior Designers.

Charrisse has served on international design juries and lectured globally on the impact of interior design on improving human health and well-being.

While her work spans corporate headquarters and universities to multi-family residences, primary schools and private homes, she strives for one basic goal in all her designs: that the finished spaces not only look great, but they also make a real difference in the lives of the people inside them.
