Mattia Fracchia
Mattia Fracchia is an Assistant Professor of Economics at IE University. He specializes in applied microeconomics, focusing on development, behavioral, organizational, and health economics. Mattia has published in international refereed journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, Nature Medicine, and Health Economics. His research has entailed substantial fieldwork in Mozambique and Guinea-Bissau and funding by national and international agencies such as FCT, IGC, PEP, UNDP, and USAID. He is also Vice-President of NOVAFRICA Guinea-Bissau and a consultant to the World Bank. Mattia Fracchia holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics.
